 Hi Everyone,

A great final night of football saw some emphatic results as the top two and the third and fourth teams battled to gain an advantage on the table.

Congratulations to:

Barney's Army for winning the competition with 35 points against nearest rivals Eagle Fang Remnants on 33 points.

Mike of the Gnarly Bastards for top scorer with 34 goals. Mike is awarded the Stephen Key Memorial Cup. 

Norm of  Barney's Army for Player of the Competition Award and for being the runner up in the goals stakes with a very creditable 28 goals.

Pony of Ballsy FC for the well deserved Fair Play Award.
 

Thanks is also offered to;

CJ for his outstanding work behind and in front of the scenes to establish a wonderful, well marked, playing surface - often working in somewhat trying circumstances !

Chris Heelam for his outstanding refereeing throughout.

Russ and CJ for running the bar every night.

To all those who helped with the nets, flags, setting up of the clubhouse etc.

To all the players for their often delightful skills and finally to the supporters who cheered and participated.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remember those who have played in the competition over the years and who have since passed on;

Jay Currie  aged 44 on the 2nd October 2020 

Mike Dobson aged 68 on the 25th December 2023
